JagaSG is a Singapore-native ride comparison app that cuts through the noise of five competing platforms: Grab, Gojek, Ryde, CDG, and TADA, and surfaces the cheapest option in real time.
The name borrows from jaga, a Malay word deeply woven into everyday Singaporean life, meaning to watch over or to keep guard. JagaSG watches all the platforms, so you're conveniently informed in one place.
The core insight is simple but underserved: Singaporeans are loyal to habit, not price, and they're quietly overpaying every single ride because switching between apps is friction they can't be bothered with. This project was born out of personal frustration — as a student, toggling between five apps just to find the cheapest fare before every ride gets old fast. JagaSG removes that friction entirely. One search, one screen, ranked by fare, with platform branding intact so you know exactly what you're booking before you leave the app.
